Asset licence

This licence is an agreement between you and Sixside Games ("Sixside", "we") for the 3D asset packs we sell on sixsidegames.com (the "assets"). Buying a pack means you accept it.

Who it covers

One purchase licenses you as a person, or one company or studio and the people working on its projects. Contractors you hire can use the assets for your projects only.

What you can do

• Use the assets in unlimited commercial and non-commercial games, apps, films, videos, trailers, renders and other projects, for as long as you like, with no royalties.
• Change them however you want: recolour, remesh, combine, animate and rig them.
• Ship them inside your finished project, including in files players can access, as long as they're part of that project and not offered as standalone assets.
• Use them in promotional material for your project, such as screenshots, store pages and trailers.

Credit isn't required, but "Assets by Sixside Games" is always appreciated.

What you can't do

• Resell, share or give away the assets themselves, changed or not: not as a pack, a template, a kit, a marketplace listing, a mod resource or source files in a public repository.
• Include them in a product whose main purpose is to let other people make their own games or 3D content from them, such as an asset pack, a game template or a level editor's asset library.
• Use them, or renders of them, as training data for AI systems that generate 3D models, textures or images.
• Register them as your own trademark or claim you made them.

Ownership

We keep the copyright and all other rights in the assets. You own what you make with them, apart from the assets themselves.

Updates and support

When we update a pack, we may make the new files available to people who bought it. Questions or problems: hello@sixsidegames.com.

Ending the licence

If you break these terms, the licence ends and you must stop using the assets in new work. Projects you already released while following these terms can stay as they are.

No warranty

The assets are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the assets is limited to what you paid for them.

Governing law

This licence is governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, USA. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Wisconsin, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
