Ticket Zero is a 3D IT job simulator. It's your first day on the help desk at a modern office: the receptionist greets you, tickets land on your desk PC, and you walk over to the person who filed one to ask what they're seeing. Then you sit down at the right machine and fix it with real commands. Everything in the building, from the network to how your coworkers react, comes from one simulated network, so a fix only works if it's the right one.

People breaking into IT can memorise facts but have nowhere to practise the actual job: reading a vague ticket, investigating, finding the root cause, fixing it and documenting it. Ticket Zero is that practice. It plays in your browser on a desktop or laptop.

Features

  • Walk a modern office: reception, department pods, glass offices, the IT corner and the server room
  • Talk to the person who filed the ticket and ask what they see. Coworkers react when the network goes down, and thank you when it's back
  • Real commands on the machines in front of you, against a simulated network: what you fix really changes
  • Every ticket scored against the ideal investigation, with randomised values so you learn methods, not answers
  • A hint ladder, a reference Codex and spaced-repetition practice

  1. Scenario tickets, hint ladder and Codex(done)
